Collage art & illustration

In her artistic practice Xenia Gott prefers an intuitive approach when she captures her random (online) impressions into figurative collage sketches..
Influenced by shape, color and rhythm Xenia combines layer upon layer with drawings, magazine snippets & texts.

She’s found this randomized method appeals to her imagination and works well with the fragmentary manner in which she paints her stories on canvas.

Recurring themes in her works are struggling anti-heroes, wrestling underdogs; characters that often reside on the edge of society.
